Shaping Tomorrow’s Skills: EU.ACE Launches Innovative Credentials

Deep transnational collaboration is essential in equipping learners with the skills needed to address future challenges. In line with this vision, the EU.ACE team convened in Alba Iulia, Romania, hosted by Alba Iulia University, to advance the development of innovative micro-credentials.

During this productive gathering, experts from the EU.ACE project:

  • Explored existing frameworks and shared best practices, including the Council Recommendation and the Austrian national BFUG recommendation for micro-credentials.
  • Standardized documentation to ensure consistency across participating countries.
  • Discussed implementation strategies and the future of digital credentialing.

A major milestone was reached: developing five joint micro-credentials, set to launch in 2025. These credentials aim to enhance accessibility and standardization in education across Europe, reinforcing a future-ready learning ecosystem.

EU.ACE thanks Alba Iulia University for hosting the event and to all partners for their invaluable contributions. Through collaborative efforts, this initiative is paving the way for a more inclusive and future-focused educational landscape in Europe.
